SWPA Combat Bots - 2016

Congrats to this years Combat Bots team; comprised of Chris Lang, James Baxter, Jacob Reuter, Rachel Jarman, Ryan Schonbachler, and Sam Schoon. They placed first nationally in the competition beating many schools in the area including Carnegie Mellon University. This was PR's first time in the competition and showed how advanced our engineering department is in terms of innovation and manufacturing, to the whole area. A special thanks to all of our sponsors for this event.

Bots IQ Competition

This week our school's Bots IQ team compteted at BC3 on March 10th for the first time. The competition is a Battle Bot Style competion with a 15 pound weight. We placed first in this competition, qualifing us for states on April 8-9 at Cal U. Videos of the event can be found here or here.

TSA States Reminder

In April, all qualifing members will be attending the PA TSA's State Competition. Members remember to have your forms by this Friday; March 11th!

TSA Annoucement - Winter Break

As our holiday break approaches, so does our deadline! If you are doing a project or essay that you can take home, it is reccomended to continue working to get the best product. Please check with Mr. Clark on your registration for events in TSA. Also, check the PR TSA Calendar to see when your event deadline is!

TSA States

Congrats to all of the students whose hard work and innovation paid off! Almost all student projects that qualified for the TSA States held at Seven Springs Mountain Resort, placed in the top 10 spots. Complete Results for States be found here.
